In 2005-2006, our attorneys handled three of the then 10 longest running labor disputes in the U.S. (2 strikes and a lockout).

Our representative labor and employment experience in the manufacturing and logistics industry includes:
- Serving as national labor and employment counsel for a Fortune 500 diesel engine and power generation equipment manufacturer that employs 38,000 in 160 countries, for whom we:
- Negotiated a long-term contract with the union.
- Assisted in implementing an acquisition and merger strategy for the entire United States distribution system, including many unionized facilities.
- Assisted in relocating work from union facilities to non-union U.S. and overseas facilities.
- Assisted with strategy for placing a significant new product line in a unionized environment by negotiating employer-oriented long-term collective bargaining agreements with two unions.
- Representing a 1st tier automotive supplier with multi-billion dollar annual revenues and 20,000+ employees at over 25 U.S. locations in 14 states with:
- Strategizing and conducting effects bargaining concerning the purchase and subsequent phase down of a unionized California facility and relocation of work to a Nebraska facility.
- Strategizing on the planning and execution of concessionary contract bargaining goals.
- Assisting a 34,000 employee, multi-national automotive glass and accessories manufacturer with approximately 20 U.S. plants in, among other things, union decertification efforts and advised on labor-related issues in transactions involving unionized plants.
