Professional Experience
Nigel Stark is a member of the firm's corporate finance practice group. He counsels clients through a variety of corporate matters and commercial transactions. In particular, Nigel has worked extensively in the areas of software licensing and other information technology transactions.
While attending the University of Texas School of Law, Nigel served as a summer clerk to the Honorable Don Willett of the Texas Supreme Court in 2006 and to the Honorable Bob Pemberton of the Texas Third Court of Appeals in Austin in 2005. Before joining Baker & Daniels, Nigel worked for Safeco Insurance, assisting in the defense of insurance claims and, prior to law school, gained extensive political experience working as a legislative assistant in the Washington State Senate.
