Professional Experience
Shannon Reed concentrates her practice in the area of health care law. She represents a variety of providers, including health systems, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, physicians and dentists. Shannon counsels clients on a wide range of matters, including the formation, negotiation and enforcement of provider agreements; physician recruitment, retention and various other employment, peer review and medical staff issues; licensure and accreditation issues; mergers and acquisitions; corporate compliance issues; and consent and records issues. Shannon routinely advises clients on the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law and HIPAA. She represents clients in federal and state court, administrative proceedings and before medical staff panels. Shannon is also an adjunct faculty member at a local college where she teaches health care law.
