Through the National Center for Refugee & Immigrant Children, a Washington, D.C.-based partnership of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants and the American Immigrant Lawyers Association, minor children are represented in legal and social services to fight for their right to stay in the United States.

National Immigrant Justice Center
Through the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago and National Center for Refugee & Immigrant Children in Washington, D.C., legal assistance is provided to asylum seekers. Generally, those seeking asylum are foreign nationals who have fled their homes to escape religious, ethnic or political persecution.

IU-Kenya HIV/AIDS Treatment and Abatement Program
The Academic Model for the Prevention and Treatment of HIV (AMPATH) is Kenya's most comprehensive initiative to combat HIV. Developing out of a partnership between Indiana University's School of Medicine and the Moi School of Medicine in Kenya, the initiative is a working model of urban and rural HIV preventive and treatment services in the public sector.

Legal Aid Centre of Eldoret
The Legal Aid Centre of Eldoret (LACE) is based in the Kenya hospital that hosts the AMPATH program, resembling the Medical-Legal Partnership that Baker & Daniels helped develop in Indiana. Baker & Daniels professionals are working to expand the AMPATH/LACE partnership, along with other initiatives.

Onesimus Boys Centre
Baker & Daniels lawyers have provided volunteers from St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis with a range of legal assistance to develop a process and procedures that permit ongoing financial support for Onesimus Boys Centre (OBC), a rehabilitation centre in Mombassa, Kenya.
